A Classic Symbol of Automotive Excellence
Rolls-Royce unveiled the fourth and last series of the Silver Spirit and Silver Spur in June 1995 for the 1996 model year, with significant revisions and improvements. The new automobiles, however, were simply known as New Silver Spirit and New Silver Spur because the IV suffix was associated with death in some Far Eastern countries. As before, the Silver Spur was the long-wheelbase variant of the Silver Spirit, with an additional 4 inches in the back compartment.
